Organizing hundreds of form file uploads into a single Google Drive folder quickly leads to clutter. With the Gravity Forms Google Drive Premium Addon, you can automatically generate dynamic subfolders based on form entry data such as Customer Name, Company, Order ID, or Submission Date.

Why Use Dynamic Subfolders?

  • Client Isolation: Keep each applicant or customer files neatly grouped in their own private folder.
  • Automated Workflows: Allow your team or department to locate customer documents in seconds without manual sorting.
  • Google Workspace Team Drive Support: Seamlessly organize uploads directly within shared drives.

How to Configure Dynamic Subfolders

In your Gravity Form feed settings under Settings β†’ Google Drive:

  • Locate the Subfolder Name setting.
  • Use Gravity Forms Merge Tags to construct your folder structure, for example: {First Name:1}_{Last Name:2} - {date_mdy} or Order-#{entry_id}.
  • Whenever a user submits the form, the plugin will automatically create this subfolder inside your primary Google Drive directory and store all attachments within it.
