How can we help you?

Manual address entry on checkout and quote forms often introduces spelling mistakes, missing flat numbers, and incorrect delivery postcodes. With the Gravity Forms UK Postcode Lookup Premium Add-on, UK visitors can simply enter their postcode to instantly populate clean, verified Royal Mail PAF street, town, and county details.

Why Add Postcode Validation to Gravity Forms

• Eliminates Failed Deliveries: Queries official Royal Mail address databases to ensure 100% address accuracy.
• Faster Mobile Conversions: Reduces manual mobile typing by allowing users to select their premise from an auto-fill dropdown.
• Zero Hosted SaaS Markups: Connects directly to cost-effective PAF providers without middleman fees.

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Step 1: Choose Your Provider and Enter the API Key

Get an API key from Ideal Postcodes (new accounts include free trial lookups) or Postcoder. Navigate to Forms → Settings → UK PostCodes, choose the provider under Lookup provider, paste the key and click Test connection. Then click Save Settings.

Used getAddress.io before? getAddress.io stopped its UK address service in February 2026. Your forms and settings are kept: choose Ideal Postcodes or Postcoder on the same settings page, add its API key and save, and lookups work again straight away.

Step 2: Enable on Address Field

In your form editor, click on any Address field and toggle Enable UK Postcode Lookup under Field Settings. Optionally tick Hide Address Field to show only the postcode search until an address is chosen.
