The Gravity Forms Instantly.ai Integration Add-on connects your WordPress conversion forms directly to Instantly.ai, the industry-standard cold email and outreach automation platform. When inbound prospects request demos, download whitepapers, or submit lead inquiries, they are automatically enrolled into targeted Instantly cold email sequences in real time.

Direct API integration eliminates per-task middleware fees, ensures instant lead enrollment, and allows granular personalization via custom variables.

2. Prerequisites & API Credentials

Ensure you have:

• An active Instantly.ai subscription (Growth, Hypergrowth, or Light Speed).
• An Instantly.ai API Key generated under Settings → Integrations.
• At least one active Campaign created in Instantly.

3. Plugin Installation & Authentication

1. Install and activate the add-on via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
2. Go to Forms → Settings → Instantly.ai.
3. Paste your API Key and click Save Settings.

4. Form Configuration & Campaign Mapping

1. Open your lead generation form and click Settings → Instantly.ai.
2. Click Add New to create an enrollment feed.
3. Select your target Instantly Campaign from the dropdown list.
4. Map required lead fields:
   • Email: Primary identifier for email sequences.
   • First Name & Last Name: Personal greeting tags.
   • Company Name & Website: Firmographic data.
   • Custom Variables: Map bespoke fields (e.g. {{industry}}, {{budget}}).

6. Troubleshooting & Common Issues

• 401 Unauthorized: Your Instantly API key is invalid or deleted. Generate a new key in Instantly.
• Campaign Not Active: Ensure your target campaign is not archived or in draft status.
