Create GitHub Issues from Gravity Forms Entries Automatically (No Zapier)

How to Connect GitHub with the Gravity Forms add-on:

1. Go to GitHub Settings → Developer Settings → Personal Access Tokens.

2. Generate a new token with repo scope (for issues, repos, and collaborator access).

3. In your WordPress Admin, go to Forms → Settings → GitHub.

4. Paste your Personal Access Token.

5. (Optional) Enter a Default Owner/Org — the default repository owner or organization.

6. Click Save Settings.

How to Create an Issue:

1. Go to Forms → [Your Form] → Settings → GitHub.

2. Click Add New to create a new feed.

3. Enter a Feed Name and select Action: Create Issue.

4. Enter the Repository (format: owner/repo). Supports merge tags.

5. Map the Issue Title and Issue Body fields. Supports merge tags.

6. (Optional) Enter Labels (comma-separated, e.g., “bug, urgent”).

7. Click Save Settings.

How to Create a Repository or Add a Collaborator:

1. Create a new feed and select Action: Create Repository or Add Collaborator.

2. For Create Repository: enter the repository name, description, and check “Make Private” if needed.

3. For Add Collaborator: enter the repository and the GitHub username.

4. Click Save Settings.

How to use Conditional Logic:

In the feed settings, check the Enable Condition checkbox to add conditional logic. This allows you to control when the GitHub action is triggered based on form field values.

Note: Before Setting Feed, the user should disable ‘No Conflict Mode’ by navigating to Forms → Settings → Disable No Conflict Mode.
