The Gravity Forms Thinkific Integration Add-on connects your WordPress forms directly to Thinkific online course platform. Step 1: Connecting Thinkific API Credentials

To establish a direct connection between Gravity Forms and your Thinkific academy, obtain your Subdomain and API Key from Thinkific:

1. Log in to your Thinkific admin dashboard.
2. Navigate to Settings → Code & analytics → API (or Webhooks/API Keys depending on your plan).
3. Copy your academy Subdomain (e.g. myacademy from myacademy.thinkific.com) and your API Key.
4. In your WordPress Admin dashboard, navigate to Forms → Settings → Thinkific.
5. Enter your Subdomain and API Key into the fields provided.
6. Click Save Settings to authenticate the connection.

Step 2: Creating a Course Enrollment Feed

Once authenticated, configure an automated enrollment feed on your course registration or checkout form:

1. Go to Forms and select your course registration or lead generation form.
2. Navigate to Settings → Thinkific.
3. Click Add New to create an enrollment feed.
4. Enter an identifiable Feed Name (e.g., “Masterclass Student Enrollment”).

Step 3: Student User Provisioning & Field Mapping

Map your form inputs to student profile fields in Thinkific. The add-on checks if an account already exists using the student’s email address. If found, the course is added to their dashboard; otherwise, a new account is created automatically:

You can specify a static Course ID or map a form dropdown field to enroll students dynamically based on their selections:

• To find your Course ID, log into Thinkific, navigate to Manage Learning → Courses, click your course, and note the numeric ID in your browser address bar (e.g. https://admin.thinkific.com/manage/courses/1234567).
• Use form dropdown choices with values set to respective Course IDs to allow students to choose their elective or track upon signup.

Step 5: Conditional Logic for Multi-Tier Enrollments

Gravity Forms conditional logic allows you to construct sophisticated admission pathways:

• Only trigger enrollment after a payment transaction (Stripe/PayPal) is authorized.
