Overview

The WPForms Monday.com Integration Add-on connects your WordPress forms directly to Monday.com Work OS and CRM boards in real time. Whenever a visitor submits a form on your site, a new structured item or lead is instantly generated in your chosen board, mapping contact information, custom fields, and inquiry details with zero latency and zero middleware fees.

Prerequisites

• WordPress 5.8 or higher
• WPForms (Lite or Pro) installed and activated
• An active Monday.com account (Free, Basic, Standard, Pro, or Enterprise)
• A Monday.com Personal API Token

Step 1: Generate Your Monday.com Personal API Token

1. Log in to your Monday.com account.
2. Click on your Profile Avatar in the bottom-left corner of the interface.
3. Select Developers from the menu. (If you don’t see Developers, go to Administration » API).
4. Under the Developer menu, navigate to Developer » My Access Tokens.
5. Click Show or Generate to reveal your Personal API Token.
6. Copy this token to your clipboard.

Step 2: Connect Monday.com to WPForms

1. In your WordPress admin dashboard, navigate to WPForms » Monday.com.
2. Paste your copied token into the Personal API Token field.
3. Click Save & Test Connection.
4. A green success notification will verify your connection and display your Monday.com user name.

Step 3: Configure Form Feed Settings

1. Open the form you wish to connect under WPForms » All Forms and click Edit.
2. In the form builder, go to Settings » Monday.com.
3. Check Enable Monday.com Integration.
4. Enter your Monday.com Board ID.

   Tip: You can locate your Board ID directly from your browser URL when viewing your board: https://yourteam.monday.com/boards/1234567890 → Board ID is 1234567890.

5. (Optional) Enter a Group ID if you want items placed in a specific section.
6. Specify an Item Name / Lead Title template, or leave it blank to automatically format as Lead: [Submitter Name].

Step 4: Field Mapping & Custom Columns

The add-on automatically inspects your form and maps standard fields:

• Lead Name / Title: Populated from Full Name, First/Last Name, or Text fields.
• Email Column: Automatically mapped to your board’s Email column with valid email formatting.
• Phone Column: Automatically formatted and mapped to your board’s Phone column.

Step 5: Testing & Verification

1. Open your form on the frontend and submit a test entry.
2. Open your Monday.com board — the new item will appear instantaneously in your board.
3. In your WordPress dashboard, check WPForms » Entries to inspect the execution audit note with the generated Monday item ID.

Troubleshooting FAQs

Q: Why do I see a 401 Unauthorized error?
A: Ensure your Personal API Token was copied completely without trailing spaces. Verify that your user account in Monday.com has edit permissions on the target board.

Q: Can I connect multiple forms to different Monday boards?
A: Yes! Each WPForms form has its own independent feed settings, allowing you to route different forms to different boards and teams.
