What does it do?

LET PEOPLE FIX THEIR OWN ENTRIES

Typos, changed plans, a forgotten detail: without a way back into their submission, people email you and you edit entries by hand.

Secure Edit Link & Client Portal adds a personal edit link to your notifications. The link opens your own Gravity Forms form, filled in with the entry. Only the fields you allow can be changed, the normal validation runs, the same entry is updated and every change is written to the entry notes. A client portal lists each person's submissions with View, Edit and PDF download.

How does it work?

Enable: In Form Settings → Secure Edit, turn on secure links, choose the editable fields, the link lifetime and who can edit.
Send: Add {ge_edit_link} to a notification. Each person receives their own signed link.
Edit: The link opens your form filled in with their answers; they change the allowed fields and save.
Track: Every edit is written to the entry notes and can trigger an "Entry is edited" notification. Clients can find all their submissions in the portal.

How do I enable this?

Install and activate the add-on, then enter your GravityExtra license key under Forms → Settings → Secure Edit

Open a form, go to Settings → Secure Edit and turn on "Allow editing through a secure link"

Tick the fields people may change (none ticked = every supported field) and choose the link lifetime

Add {ge_edit_link} to a notification; optionally enable the client portal and pick the email field used to match entries
