Turn your Gravity Forms into a self-serve on-ramp for Chargebee. The Gravity Forms Chargebee Premium Add-on takes each submission and, through the Chargebee REST API, finds the customer by email or creates a new one, and can then start a subscription for them: a plan item price, a quantity and any add-on item prices, all mapped from your form.

It is built for the real moments where billing begins on your site: a plan sign-up page, a sales enquiry that should land as a customer, an upgrade request, or an event that should spin up a recurring plan. Map the email, name, company and phone to the Chargebee customer, pick the plan item price (a fixed id or a form choice through a merge tag), add seats or add-ons, and the add-on does the rest on your server after the visitor sees your normal confirmation.

You connect it with your own Chargebee site and a full-access API key over HTTP Basic auth. The key is encrypted before it is stored on your site, it is never shown again and never written to an entry or a log, and the add-on only ever contacts your own <site>.chargebee.com. A connection test on the settings page lists your item prices, and each entry keeps the customer link, the subscription link and the ids for your records. A resend is safe: the customer is matched by exact email and the subscription carries a deterministic id, so a retry never creates a second customer or a second subscription.

When a form is submitted and the feed condition is met, the add-on finds the customer by exact email or creates one, optionally updating the matched customer with the mapped fields. If a subscription is turned on, it then starts a subscription for that customer with the plan item price, the quantity and any add-on item prices. Every call uses HTTP Basic auth with your API key, the host is fixed to your own <site>.chargebee.com, and a redirect is never followed. The customer and subscription ids and links are saved on the entry, and a retry is matched by exact email and a deterministic subscription id so nothing is ever duplicated.
