Turn every form submission into a record in Clockify. The Gravity Forms Clockify Premium Add-on takes each submission and, through the Clockify REST API, creates a time entry in your workspace from the description, start and end time, billable flag, project, task and tags that you map from your form fields. Prefer to capture new work instead? The same feed can create a client or a project in your workspace rather than a time entry, so a single form can feed the parts of Clockify you care about.

It is built for anyone who logs time or intake through a form and wants it in Clockify without copying it by hand: a studio logging billable hours, a consultancy capturing new clients, an agency spinning up a project for every signed brief, a team turning a request form into a tracked entry. Map the description and the start time from your fields, mark the entry billable from a yes/no field, point it at a project and task, and decide per feed whether to create a time entry, a client or a project. The created Clockify id is stored with the entry and available as a merge tag ({clockify_entry}, {clockify_client}, {clockify_project}), so your confirmation e-mail and admin notification can carry it to the customer and your team.

You connect it with your own Clockify API key, generated in your Clockify profile. A built-in workspace picker lists the workspaces your key can see so you can choose one in a click, and a Test connection button confirms the key works without creating anything. The key is encrypted before it is stored on your site, it is never shown again and never written to an entry or a log, and the add-on only ever contacts the Clockify REST API. The design is safe to retry: each entry is created once, so a resent submission never files a second copy. A Clockify account and API key are required (the free plan includes the API; some fields such as billable or custom fields need a paid plan).

When a form is submitted and the feed condition is met, the add-on reads the feed: whether to create a time entry, a client or a project, and the values mapped from your fields. For a time entry it builds the description, start and end time, billable flag, project, task and tags, defaulting the start to the moment of submission when none is mapped, and sends one request to POST the record to the Clockify REST API with your API key in the X-Api-Key header. For a client or a project it sends the name (and an optional note, client or colour). The workspace comes from your settings and travels in the URL path; the host is fixed to api.clockify.me, a redirect is never followed, and the key never travels in the URL or the body. The created id is stored with the entry and exposed as a merge tag, a clear note records what happened, and each entry is created once so a retry never files a second record.
