Collect a form, send a contract. The Gravity Forms Documenso Premium Add-on turns every submission into a Documenso signing document generated from one of your templates, and sends the signature request to the people on the form. Documenso is the open-source, self-hostable alternative to the big e-signature services, so you keep your documents and your signers on your own terms.

On each feed you choose a template, map every template recipient to a signer email, name and role (signer, approver, CC or viewer) from the form, and prefill template fields with values from the entry. The add-on creates the document, sends it for signing straight away or leaves it as a draft, and writes the Documenso document id, its status and the signing links back onto the Gravity Forms entry.

It works with Documenso Cloud (app.documenso.com) or your own self-hosted Documenso through your API key, which is encrypted before it is stored on your site and never shown again, never written to an entry or a log. A failed call never blocks the submission: the entry is always saved, with a clear note explaining what happened, and a retry never creates the document twice.

When a form is submitted and the feed condition is met, the add-on builds the signer list and prefill fields from your mapping, then calls the Documenso API to generate a document from the template and, if you asked it to, send the signature request. It reads the new document id, status and signing links and stores them on the entry. The API key is encrypted at rest and the Documenso host is locked, so nothing is sent anywhere except your Documenso and gravityextra.com for licensing.
