Take payments with your Gravity Forms through your own Flutterwave account. The Gravity Forms Flutterwave Premium Add-on creates a Flutterwave Standard payment for the exact form total and sends the customer to the Flutterwave hosted checkout, where they pay by card, bank transfer, mobile money, USSD or the other methods on your account. When they come back, the transaction is verified with Flutterwave and the entry is marked paid.

Connect with the secret key from Flutterwave Settings > API Keys: a test key for tests and a live key for real payments, both checked when you save and stored encrypted. Every webhook must carry your secret hash and is verified again with the API, and a status check every five minutes catches anything a webhook missed. Naira, cedi, shilling, rand, CFA franc and the other Flutterwave currencies are added to Gravity Forms.

Refund all or part of a payment from the entry, with confirmation and one-time request IDs so nothing is sent twice; refunds made in the Flutterwave dashboard are recorded automatically. Amounts are worked out on the server and a transaction that does not match the form total is never marked as paid.

When a form is submitted, the add-on creates a Flutterwave Standard payment (POST /v3/payments) for the total Gravity Forms calculated on the server, with a unique tx_ref and your secret key as the Bearer token, and sends the customer to the hosted link. When the customer returns, a webhook arrives or the status check runs, the add-on verifies the transaction (GET /v3/transactions/{id}/verify, or by reference) and updates the entry once, only if the reference, status, amount and currency match. Webhooks must carry your secret hash in the verif-hash header. Refunds use the transaction refund endpoint. Keys and secret hashes are encrypted at rest and only api.flutterwave.com is contacted.
