Turn a form submission into a content item in your own headless CMS. The Gravity Forms Headless CMS Premium Add-on sends each entry from your site straight to your own Strapi, Directus, Contentful, Sanity or Ghost, with your own token, so your content stays in your stack. Nothing goes through GravityExtra.

One setting picks the provider for the whole site, and any feed can override it, so a contact form can write to Strapi while a story form writes to Ghost. Each feed names its target (a Strapi collection, a Directus collection, a Contentful content type, a Sanity document type or a Ghost resource) and maps your content model's fields to form fields or typed values with merge tags. The visitor never waits: a background job creates the item right after the submission and writes the result, with the new item id, on the entry.

When the CMS cannot be reached, the add-on tries again later; when a request may already have arrived, it is never sent again, so an entry can never become two items by accident. The merge tag {cms_item_id} carries the new id into notifications, and notification events fire when an item is created or cannot be created.

The add-on is a Gravity Forms feed add-on. When an entry is saved, each feed whose condition matches is queued, and a background job builds the content item from the field mapping and creates it in your CMS, then writes the result and the new item id on the entry. The visitor only ever waits for the normal confirmation.
