Amateur leagues, clubs and school competitions want results in quickly and a league table that is always right, without a spreadsheet passed around every Sunday night. The Gravity Forms League Results & Standings add-on turns one Gravity Forms form into the result form of your league and gives organisers a league office under Forms → League Results.

Create a league and season with your own points for a win, a draw and a loss and your own tie-breakers in the order you choose: head-to-head, difference, scored and matches won. Add teams in divisions by hand or from a CSV, then generate a round-robin fixture list (single or home and away, a date per round) or import your own.

Every captain gets a signed captain link, or logs in as the team’s captain, and sees only the team’s matches that still need a result. The server checks the link, the match and both scores and takes one result per match. The other captain confirms or disputes it through a private link in their e-mail; disputed results go to the Review tab, where an admin confirms, corrects, records a forfeit or clears the result. Or let an admin review every result.

The standings table is calculated on your server from confirmed results, forfeits and point deductions with their reasons. Public table, results and fixtures shortcodes and a block show team names and numbers only, with a compact table on phones. Notification events, {league:match} and {league:confirm_link} merge tags, entry columns and CSV export complete it. Everything runs on your own server: no outside connection. For Gravity Forms 2.9 and newer.

Leagues, teams, fixtures and deductions are stored in four tables in your WordPress database. A captain link carries the team and a signature made with a secret key of your site; when a captain sends a result, the add-on checks on your server that the link is valid, that the match belongs to the team and still needs a result and that both scores are whole numbers, then takes the match with one conditional database update, so a second result for the same match is refused even when two arrive at the same moment. The values Gravity Forms saved are overwritten with the checked ones and the captain key is never stored. The confirmation link is signed for the other team and the moment the result was sent, so only that captain can answer and an old link stops working when a result is cleared. The table is calculated from confirmed results and forfeits each time it is shown. The add-on makes no outside HTTP request beyond the licence and update checks.
