Connect your Gravity Forms to your own Loops account. The Gravity Forms Loops Premium Add-on creates or updates a contact in Loops whenever a form is submitted, matching the person by email so there are no duplicates, and can send a Loops event afterwards to trigger a loop or an automation.

Map the email, the first and last name and any Loops contact properties by name, map the properties sent with an event, and use conditional logic so a feed only runs when you want it to. Build several feeds on one form to send different people to different events. Everything runs through your own Loops API key, and nothing passes through GravityExtra.

Your API key is encrypted before it is stored on your site, it is never shown again and never written to an entry or a log, and the add-on only ever contacts the Loops API host. A Loops call that fails never blocks the submission: the entry is still saved and a note on the entry records exactly what happened, so you never lose a lead to a hiccup at the API.

On submit, the add-on sends the mapped email, name and contact properties to the Loops contacts update endpoint with your API key as a Bearer token, creating the contact or updating the existing one. When you set an event name, it makes a second call to the Loops events endpoint to send that event for the same contact, with any mapped event properties. The API key is encrypted at rest and the Loops host is the only host the add-on ever contacts, so nothing is sent anywhere else. A failed call is turned into an entry note and never blocks the submission.
