Switching to Gravity Forms usually means rebuilding every form by hand and leaving the old submissions behind. The Gravity Forms Migrate Premium Add-on removes that work. It looks at the other WordPress form plugins already installed on your site, lists the forms they hold, and lets you bring the ones you choose into Gravity Forms — the form structure as proper Gravity Forms fields, and the stored entries migrated in batches — from one screen under Forms → Migrate.

It is built for anyone moving to Gravity Forms from another builder: agencies consolidating many client sites onto one form tool, site owners standardising on Gravity Forms, and developers who want the history to come across, not just the form. Each migration begins with a dry-run preview and a field-type mapping report: it shows the Gravity Form that would be created, maps each source field type to its Gravity Forms equivalent, and lists any field types that have no match, so you decide with full visibility and nothing is dropped silently.

The add-on is careful by design. It only ever reads the other plugin's own data stored on your site — it never edits or deletes the source form or its submissions, and it makes no outside connections. File-upload URLs are preserved on migrated entries, and every migration records a marker so running it again reuses the same Gravity Form and adds only entries it has not seen before: no duplicate forms, no duplicate entries.

When you open Forms → Migrate, the add-on detects which other form plugins are present by reading their own data on your site, and lists each one's forms. Pick a form and it builds a dry-run preview: it reads the source form, maps each field type to a Gravity Forms field, and produces a report that lists the mapped fields and, separately, any source field types with no Gravity Forms equivalent. Nothing is written yet. When you confirm, it creates the Gravity Form with the mapped fields, then migrates the stored entries in batches, writing each source entry's values onto the new Gravity Forms fields and keeping any file-upload URLs. A marker tied to the source form id is recorded, so a later re-run reuses the same Gravity Form and imports only entries that were not migrated before — never a duplicate. The source plugin's data is only ever read, and the whole process runs locally with no outside connection.
