A café, bar or restaurant that already uses Gravity Forms can let guests order from their table. The Gravity Forms QR Table Ordering & Kitchen Display add-on gives every table its own QR code and prints table cards for you. A guest scans the code with their phone camera and the order form opens with the table already filled in and locked. The code is signed, and the server checks it again on every order, so an order can never arrive for a table that was edited or made up.

Orders go straight to a live kitchen board: big cards in New, Preparing, Ready and Served columns with the table, the time since the order, every item with its options, and the guest's note. A short tone plays when a new order arrives. Staff tap a button or drag a card to move the order on, and each station sees only its own items: drinks at the bar, food in the kitchen. The guest follows the order on a status page that updates by itself and can press Call staff (with a limit so the button cannot be spammed).

Payment stays with the tools you already trust: guests can pay at the counter, or pay online through the Gravity Forms payment add-on you already use. Orders with an unfinished online payment wait and reach the kitchen only once Gravity Forms marks them paid. The add-on has no payment code of its own and never sees card details. A daily summary with totals by status and a CSV export round off the day. Everything runs on your own server, with no outside service. Allergen and dietary information remains your venue's responsibility. For Gravity Forms 2.9 and newer.

Each table has a random code. Its QR code points to your own site with that code and a signature made with a secret key that only your site knows, tied to the order form of the table. When a guest scans it, the add-on checks the signature, opens the order form on a clean mobile page and fills in the table field, which the guest cannot change. When the order is sent, the server checks the signed code again before Gravity Forms or any payment add-on handles the order, and it refuses the order if the code is not valid or the table field does not match. Once Gravity Forms has saved the entry, the add-on records the order: the table, the items and options from the product fields, the note and the total. If a payment add-on is still waiting for the payment, the order is held and goes to the kitchen the moment Gravity Forms marks the entry paid. The kitchen board and the guest page ask your site for changes every few seconds (you choose how often); there are no websockets and no outside service. Every status change is added to the entry as a note. The add-on makes no outside HTTP request beyond the licence and update checks.
