Stamp hunts get people moving: past every stand at a trade fair, through every street on a shop-local weekend, into every room on an open day. On paper they are easy to copy, easy to lose and tell you nothing until the cards come back. The Gravity Forms Event Stamp Passport & QR Hunt add-on moves the whole hunt to the phones people already carry. A Gravity Forms registration form gives every participant a personal passport, and every stop gets a signed QR poster. Scanning a poster with the phone camera collects that stop’s stamp, and the passport shows the progress, the points and the stops still to visit. No app to install.

Add a clue question, a time window or a location check to the stops that need more than a scan. Choose when a passport is complete: all stops, any N of them or a number of points. A complete passport becomes a prize draw entry, flags the Gravity Forms entry and fires its own notification event, and you can draw winners in one click or download the draw list.

Show an opt-in leaderboard on a screen at the venue, with initials or first names only, and send each exhibitor a lead list of the visitors who agreed to share their details. Codes are signed, each stamp counts once, copied requests are refused and stamping is rate-limited. Posters are printable PDFs and QR codes are made on your own server, with no outside connection. When the registration form is submitted, the add-on creates a passport in its own table right after Gravity Forms saves the entry, so the participant notification can already include the passport link. The link is a signed random reference: opening it keeps the passport on that phone in a secure cookie and shows the passport page. Each stop’s QR code holds a signed address for that stop; changed or invented codes are refused. Opening a stop page never stamps by itself: the Collect stamp button sends a short-lived ticket tied to the passport that opened the page, and the add-on then checks the rate limit, that the stamp is not already collected, the time window, the clue answer and, for stops with a location check, the position the browser reported after the participant agreed. A database key makes sure each passport collects each stamp once. When a stamp meets the completion rule, the passport becomes a prize draw entry and the completion notifications are sent. The leaderboard and the exhibitor lead lists only include participants who ticked their consent fields. Everything happens on your own server — the add-on makes no outside HTTP request beyond the licence and update checks.
