What does it do?

RESTORE ACADEMIC INTEGRITY TO ONLINE EXAMS

In the age of AI and remote learning, unproctored online quizzes are plagued by rampant cheating. Students routinely open new tabs to query ChatGPT, search Google, or copy question text into external discussion forums.

LearnDash Quiz Proctor & Anti-Cheating Add-on restores complete integrity to your testing process. It actively detects whenever a student switches tabs or minimizes their browser window, logs violations in real time, and automatically submits or disqualifies the exam if violation thresholds are breached.

How does it work?

The add-on injects lightweight DOM event listeners during active LearnDash quizzes. It monitors browser window blur/focus states, intercepts keyboard shortcuts (disabling F12 Developer Tools, Ctrl+Shift+I, and print-screen), and locks text selection and copy/paste within quiz containers.

Admins can configure strictness parameters: allow 1-2 accidental tab switches with immediate warning alerts, or enforce zero tolerance with automatic exam lockout and instructor notification.

How do I enable this?

Install and activate LearnDash Quiz Proctor & Anti-Cheating Add-on.

Navigate to LearnDash LMS > Quiz Proctor in your WordPress admin panel.

Set your maximum allowed tab switch violations (e.g. 3 violations).

Enable Clipboard and Context Menu locking. All exams are now securely proctored!
