Most themes show posts one way: the blog list. The moment you want a portfolio wall, a product showcase on a landing page, a filterable resource library or a carousel of case studies, you end up stacking page-builder widgets or writing a custom query. The GravityExtra Content Grid plugin gives you one visual grid builder for all of it. No Gravity Forms needed.

Pick the content (posts, pages, any custom post type, WooCommerce products, the media library or whatever archive the visitor is browsing), narrow it with taxonomy and custom field rules, and choose a layout: grid, masonry, justified rows, carousel or list, with columns and gaps for desktop, tablet and mobile. Then design the card by dragging elements into place, in the card body or over the image, and watch the live preview change as you go.

Visitors get fast AJAX filter buttons or a dropdown, a search box and a sort menu, plus numbered pages, a Load more button or infinite scroll, and a lightbox for images, YouTube, Vimeo and video files. Place the grid with the Content Grid block, a shortcode or the Elementor widget.

Each grid is saved once as a small configuration and rendered on the server, so the first page of items is in the page HTML for search engines and visitors without JavaScript, and numbered pages are real links. Filters, search, sort, Load more and infinite scroll then ask the site for the next set of cards by AJAX and add them without a page reload. In current-archive mode the grid follows the category, tag, author, date or search the visitor is on, and the request carries a signed token so it cannot be pointed at other content. Query results are cached as a list of items only, so prices, stock and cart buttons stay live, and the cache clears itself whenever content changes. Everything runs on your own site: the plugin loads no outside scripts, fonts or styles and makes no outside request beyond the licence and update checks.
