GravityExtra Directory turns WordPress into a directory site. Create as many directories as you need, such as local businesses, restaurants, trails or member profiles. Each directory has its own listing fields, categories, tags and locations, its own pages and its own rules for submissions, reviews and claims.

Visitors search by keyword, category and location, by distance from an address or from their own position, and with filters built from your fields. Results show as a grid, a list or a map. Each listing page shows the details, opening hours with an Open now badge, a photo gallery, a video, social links, a map, reviews and a claim button. Search engines get LocalBusiness structured data.

Owners add and edit listings on the front end, pick a plan and follow everything from their dashboard. You approve new listings and claims from one moderation screen. Paid plans run through WooCommerce when it is active, with featured placement and an end date. No Gravity Forms needed.

Each directory is a WordPress post type with its own categories, tags and locations, so listings work with your theme, menus, search engines and backups. Field values are stored with the listing, the first address gives the map pin, and a search index of your fields makes keyword search find amenities and addresses too. Distance search looks up the address once, caches it, and filters listings by a bounding box before it measures the real distance. Maps use the Leaflet library that ships inside the plugin. Nothing loads on pages without a directory, and the only outside requests are the GravityExtra licence and update checks, the map tiles and the optional address lookup you choose in the settings.
